BIM my Work

Building Information Modeling (BIM) is a process that gives architectural professionals the knowledge and tools to effectively plan, design, construct and manage buildings and infrastructure.

With hands-on learning of BIM capabilities, the workshop aims to acquire professional design knowledge as it is applied worldwide and by internationally recognized offices.


Key features:

• Learning how to use Revit (No prior knowledge of the Revit program is necessary)

• Alertness and awareness of international design techniques

• Integrative design thinking for functional proposals

A basic computer programming and scripting understanding is helpful but not required.


Schedule:

• Monday 16 September - Friday 20 September 2024, 18:00-20:30.

• Saturday 21 September 2024, 12:00-18:00.


Location:

Studio space in central Athens, Kolonaki near a metro station.

2) Once you have finished the online application and are registered for the programme you will receive further details via email. No CV or a portfolio is not necessary.

3) Please note that places are limited. 


Eligibility

Current architectural and design students, PhD candidates, and young or senior professionals are welcome to attend the course.


Fees

The deposit secures your place, but you must pay the entire amount to participate. Participants must have their own laptop computers.


Accommodation

For participants from abroad, accommodation in Athens is not included.


Visas

Applicants who require a visa for a short period in Greece should read through the details of the Standard Visitor Visa and its eligibility criteria all of which can be found on the Greek government website, however, applicants have to make sure that they are informed about the process so that they are well prepared to submit the visa application if applicable. Applicants applying for a visa please check the costs associated with visas before travelling to Greece


Insurance 

All applicants are responsible for securing their own travel and health insurance and should ensure that their policy provides coverage for personal belongings such as laptops, electronic equipment, tools, passport, etc. The workshop takes no responsibility for lost or stolen property.
