A New Internal Air Transport

The airport is located in the region of Andravida, in western Peloponnese, Greece, away from populated areas. The construction occupies 11000 sqm for internal, charter-type flights that offer all basic international airport services. 

The airport is formed like a semi-circle, inspired by large-scale shapes generated in Central American agriculture fields. On the second floor, one may find the check-in offices, and retail centres, as well as the restaurant, bar, and VIP room. Arrivals and departures are in distinct buildings connected to the centre area by two large hallways. 

Because an airport is the first thing people see when they arrive at their destination from an airline, the objective was to produce a design that would be easily recognisable from the air.
